This policy explains what personal data WebcamDesire collects, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are. We collect as little as we can: you can browse the whole site without an account.
1. Who is responsible
WebcamDesire – you can reach us through the contact form.
For anything about your data, write to us through the contact form.
2. Visitors
- Technical data. When you load a page our server receives your IP address, browser and the page you asked for. Login sessions store your IP address and browser for up to 2 hours of inactivity; error logs may contain request details for a short time. Purpose: running and securing the site (legitimate interest).
- Choices stored in your browser. Your age confirmation, the gender you browse, and (only if you rate a model without an account) a random browser id are kept in cookies; favorites and watch history of guests stay in your browser's local storage and never reach our server. Details: cookie policy.
- Outgoing clicks. When you open a room on a platform we count the click with the model, the platform, where on our page you clicked and your country – not your IP address or any id.
- Search. What you type in the search box is used to show results; we don't store it with anything that identifies you.
3. Ratings without an account
If you rate a model, we store your stars with a random id kept in a cookie on your device and a one-way hash of your IP address (so one network can't flood a model with votes). We can't tell who you are from them. Purpose: fair ratings (legitimate interest). They stay until the model's listing is deleted.
4. Accounts
If you create an account we store your display name, email address, a secure hash of your password (never the password itself), the date of your last login, and – if you add them – your profile picture (re-saved by us without any photo metadata such as GPS location), your reviews and ratings, and your favorites. Your display name, picture and published reviews are visible to everyone; your email address is never shown.
Purpose: providing the account you asked for (contract). We keep it until you delete your account on the account page, which deletes your account, picture, reviews, ratings and favorites at once, or until we close an account that broke our terms.
5. Contact and removal requests
When you use the contact form or the profile removal form we store your name, email address, your message or request and a hash of your IP address, to answer you and to document the request (legal obligation / legitimate interest). We keep contact messages for up to 12 months and removal requests as long as the removal applies.
6. Performers
Model listings contain information that performers publish on the platforms where they stream (stage name, pictures, profile details, room subject, online times, links they post). We receive it through the platforms' affiliate feeds and show it to help visitors find their shows (legitimate interest). We don't hold performers' legal names or ID. Listings of performers who stop streaming become hidden after 30 days and are deleted after 90 days (30 days for Stripchat). Any performer can have their listing removed permanently through the profile removal form.
7. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC) to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, rough location, device, how you arrived). Google receives your IP address, which Analytics 4 does not store, and sets cookies (_ga, _ga_…) for up to 2 years. Data may be processed in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used so we can improve it. You can object at any time by blocking cookies in your browser or with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
8. Other providers
- Cam platforms. Thumbnails and previews are loaded from the platforms' servers, and a stream starts the platform's own player when you press Play – they receive your IP address and may set their own cookies under their privacy policies. When you click through to a room you are on their site.
- Hosting. Our hosting provider processes data on our behalf to run the site.
We don't sell or rent personal data and don't use it for advertising profiles.
9. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format; where we rely on consent you can withdraw it. Account holders can change and delete their data themselves on the account page. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in your country.
10. Adults only
The site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data of anyone under 18 and delete it when we learn of it.
11. Security
Connections are encrypted, passwords are stored as one-way hashes, IP addresses we keep are hashed, and access to the administration is limited and password protected.
12. Changes
We'll update this policy when what we do changes; the date at the top shows the latest version.
